Desperate to win her love, he used his black magic to cast a spell on a potion which he wanted her to drink so that she would fall in love with him. But the princess foiled his plan, turned the magic potion against the tantrik, and the tantrik died. It is said that just before dying, he cursed the fort and the people living in it, leading to its eventual destruction.

Since then, Bhangarh Fort has seen paranormal happenings that are too numerous to enumerate. Locals asserts that the place is indeed haunted with restless souls, night whispers, sights of shadows, and an overpowering presence. Officially, the fort is shut to visitors after sunset as the authorities deem it unsafe, with increasing accounts of strange happenings after dark. Whether interested in its tragic history, haunting reputation, or ghost-hunting, Bhangarh Fort is definitely the abodes of mystery where to encounter the paranormal. Not being able to bear the humiliation of the princess being taken against her will, they decided to abandon the village and flee into the desert.

It is said that the villagers cursed the land before they left, so nobody would ever be able to settle in Kuldhara again. Thereafter, the village has remained deserted with no traces of the citizens ever coming back. The ruins of the village stand as ghostly remnants of times gone by with narrow lanes crumbling houses and broken temples bearing testimony to its history.

Visitors to Kuldhara describe an assortment of paranormal happenings, including the sounds of voices, odd chill places, and a sudden feeling of malaise. Malcha Mahal, is located in the central ridge forest of Chanakyapuri, Delhi. It is build in the Tughlaq era and it became the residence of the royal family of Awadh after India’s independence. Sometimes in the 70’s Princess Wilayat Mahal, great-granddaugter of the last Nawab of Awadh came to Delhi with her two children. They lived in New Delhi Railway Station’s first class waiting room for eight years, after which the government offered them this haunted lodge.
